History

Toll bridge authorised by the Dunham Bridge Acts (1830s) and Dunham Bridge (Amendment) Act 1994; tolls revised by orders in 2013, 2023 (car 50p from 1 July 2023) and 2026 (car 70p, van £1.50, lorry £4 from 1 August 2026).
