Where is Aberdeen's low emission zone, and which car parks are outside it?

Aberdeen's zone covers the city centre, and the council's interactive map is the final word on which streets are in. The most practical guide to the edge is the council's own list of car parks: of the 14 in the city centre, 10 can be reached in a vehicle that fails the standard, and 4 sit inside the zone.

Harbour traffic needs particular care. Leaving the Orkney and Shetland ferry terminal on Commercial Quay, a left turn onto Market Street keeps you out of the zone, while a right turn takes you into it within a very short distance, with no chance to turn back.
